Ho ho ho, hum.
Life hums along in the villa for the Potlucks. When we spend time with them sitting on the futon, they swarm all over us, fighting each other for our laps. Even Tabouli, who usually wants to be a player and not a lover crawled into my lap and laid there for quite awhile last night.
I’m sure they’re bored and ready to live outside the confines of their room, but things are slow on the adoption front. At least on our adoption front.
Sounds like a few kitten pairs got adopted yesterday at a Homeward Trails event that we couldn’t attend because we were attending a holiday potluck! Hmm, must be some kind of karma going on with that, though I’m not sure what. Actually, we did not see any chili, meatloaf, jello, or tabouli at this potluck...imagine that!
We had one adoption nibble yesterday, but learned today that the people ended up adopting elsewhere. We even volunteered to take on a playful teenager for a week just to spice things up a bit, but someone else ended up taking him. We’re trying you Potluckers!
Since we were still finding some bloody poop, even after the deworming this week, Ted has started dosing them with Albon for coccidia. We hope that finally takes care of things in the litter box.
Otherwise, it’s Christmas countdown here. We’re staying local this week, but will be with some family members on Thursday for what is always an amazing meal.
I’m supposed to bring a side dish...hmmm...should I offer up some Tabouli? Jello?
