It’s a kitten-free weekend here at 50K. We thought we might be asked to take Dee back after her spay, but when we inquired yesterday we heard she was about to be adopted, along with a “challenging” four-month-old kitten named Princess.
The Homeward Trails cat manager said the adopter was “super experienced” and:
I did tell her Princess could be a trial but the girls played it up and snuggled and were sleeping on top of each other !
So Dee not only found a great home, she gave Princess a buddy and helped her go home as well. We never heard a peep about Dee’s spay, just that while she recovered at a foster home she was playing with a group of cats and kittens, so obviously things went smoothly.
On Friday night recent grad Mal (aka Gus) stopped by with this parents, and we gave him his third and final FVRCP vaccination. Two days after taking Mal home, his parents adopted a comparably aged companion for him named Chester, so in the end the 3Ds were all paired up… a nice close to one of our shorter fostering chapters.
Which leaves us the staff cats and their usual antics, or lack thereof.
