Color: gray tabby + white

Nickname: Petey
Siblings: Beryl, Galena, Pewter, Agate, Mica, Opal

the most easily identifiable Gem, since he was a darker shade of gray with extensive white markings on his face, neck and chest. Petoskey was also the largest of the Gems (though Mica and Pewter may have been longer and occasionally outweighed him) and the second-most outgoing (after Galena.)

When the Gems were moved up to the playground so that we could accommodate a guest in the villa, Petoskey loved to run around, climb to the windows, and leap onto the bed. He spent his last nights at 50K sleeping between us and playing on the bed with Galena when his internal alarm clock went off at 4am.

When Galena reached our 2-lb adoption threshold, she and Petoskey went home together.
