Balboa
Litter number: 50
Kitten number: 208
Gender: m
Color: brown tabby + white
a classic brown tabby with white markings, Balboa was initially the smallest of Queen Isabella's three Sea Quester boys, but he outlived his unfortunate brother Thor and caught up to tuxedo-bro Ernest before graduating from 50K. The Sea Quester boys weren't particularly quick on the weaning front (or the climbing front), but they set one standard that will never be broken they never once missed the litterbox.
Though tentative about leaving the nest during their first few weeks with us, the SQs started to venture out and explore the villa once they overcome their sniffles. And once we introduced Balboa to the dangling tether-ball, he showed us his innate ball skills, leaping and twisting to swat or catch the ball with either paw. Balboa and Ernest never became true peep-cats during their stay at 50K, but they were healthy and moving in the right direction the whole time. We were happy to see them adopted together by an experienced cat owner with a 16-year-old tabby and a 5-year-old yellow lab.
